Background
I developed a side-interest in personal finance in my early 20's after a couple of clueless years of financial struggle and damaged credit. After reading a couple of books and magazines on the topic, I realized that most of it was simple common sense. Yet, seeing various concepts and techniques in print was somehow motivating. Hopefully the information on this site will do the same for you.

I am in no way affiliated with any credit counseling service or financial institution. I've put this site together as a hobby, and I'm simply passing along personal finance information I've learned and practices that have worked for me over the years.
